Description

It has been debated that the name comes after Nour El Din, a rich Mamluk Prince who built it, Its Mihrab is very refined. It has no inscriptions, a fact that has no explanation. 2 Stands are in the front gate, recalls many other monument (Khan al Saboun,..). The pavement is is from the colored marble, The mihrab is very nice sided by 2 columns, and topped by by an arch with zigzag ornamentation , it is unique and it recalls Al Burtassi. A vaulted tomb and a small room are here for the Imam of the Mosque. Unfortunately, the School is not in use.
