Description

The Hamam Ezzeddine in Tripoli, Lebanon, has a rich history, it served as a public bathhouse, offering cleansing and relaxation to locals and travelers alike. Its purpose was not only practical but also social, as it provided a communal space for people to gather and socialize.

The Hamam Ezzeddine boasts intricate architectural features characteristic. Arches and vaults create an atmosphere of grandeur, while half-vaulted doors add to the architectural charm.

The entrance gate has many Christian symbols such as the sheep that recalls the shepherd, the cypresses… It seems it was a church during the crusaders. But it was turned to a bathe with the mamluk. Lately it was restored in a very poor way.
